Lon’s Big Ten Basketball Rankings – Hotel Insights

Hello, I am in Indy for the Big Ten Basketball Tournament for my friend Birthday Bet’z bachelor party. I got to travel early due working in the Indianapolis Region, so I have had 24 hours to spy on other Big Ten Teams.

Here is my feedback, and maybe (absolutely) how I will choose to bet on these teams.

Oregon: Very tall team. They are all wearing the Oregon green, which in person is a bit gross. Additionally, they acted like they were very young (I guess the meme saying of they are just kids, is actually true they acted like me when I was 18.) I have some insider information however. I am a tall guy, six foot three (not a big deal.) The showers at this hotel are a bit small. I am betting that due to Oregon’s height, the showers are going to play a big role. Imagine sleeping in a foreign bed, then you get into a shower that you have to bend over. Dare I see, Injury/soreness prone? We take whoever comes out of the Minny/Northwestern game, and we take them big. (The sad part about this is I truly believe in what I am saying here. I was in the shower and it came to me.)

Iowa: Okay, I really shouldn’t be the one to say this but they look really pale. I wouldn’t put money on them after seeing them ordering starbucks teas.

Minnesota: I am new to blogging, someone please insert the “Minnesota” Joe Biden Meme. This team, for legitimately zero reason has me ready to hammer. Well, I lied. One reason is I shared the elevator with a coach. Old dude, probs 60 years old. Didn’t seem like in the best shape. But he was wearing full Minnesota Golden Gopher gear including the white spandex thing that cover the knees. He whispered to the dude in the elevator “Go to Ikes and Jones, don’t eat here. I worked plenty of Nike All American Games here, that is the place to eat.” Now let me be the first to explain, I am not 100% sure what that tournament is, but he said it in confidence. Therefore, I will be betting Minnesota to win two games. I will not bet them against MSU but will take my winnings in back to back Minny wins, and hammer MSU Spread.
